Tessa Thompson
The actor Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on the 3rd of October 1983, in Los Angeles, California. Thompson is the daughter of Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) and the granddaughter Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. She grew up at home in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. She is of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian descent. Thompson participated in many productions at Santa Monica High School. In the years following her graduation, she attended Santa Monica College where she earned a degree on cultural Anthropology. A Pasadena-based theater company performed her in a production. Boston Court Theatre, she appeared as Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". The show was nominated for an NAACP Theatre Award in the same season. Apart from the scene, in 2005 Tessa had her first television appearance when she starred in the CBS series
