Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows, including the revival of Violet - and originated characters in Broadway shows that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance at the young age of fifteen. Her next appearances were in Bunheads as well as Psych and also Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster, a solo performer, has appeared across the United States and overseas with Michael Rafter. Her songs include "Wish", "An Evening with Sutton Foster - Live at Cafe Carlyle" (her follow up CD) and "Anevening With Sutton Foster - Live at Joe's Pub". Ball State University awarded her an Honorary Degree in 2011 as well as continuing to advise and teach in students in the Department of Theatre and Dance. The new TVLand show, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March 2015.
